Bottleneck tools lacking clear insight into the specific issue are useless to me. You can always design a bottleneck, but when most games function adequately on the hardware, those rare cases become less relevant. Understanding what a bottleneck is (in gaming terms): "When one part limits another part’s performance, usually CPU versus GPU" helps. If both parts operate at full capacity, there’s no bottleneck. Yet this scenario is unlikely. A 100% vs 80% split technically creates a bottleneck. Does this count if it happens in every game? Probably not—only when it consistently affects performance should it be noted. In 99.9% of cases, the recommended setup will perform well without concern. I’m still searching for a solid way to clearly explain bottlenecks and their exaggerated role in PC gaming, but I’d like to dedicate some time soon to document this confusion.

The FPS effect will remain small, and the combination should stay relevant in the future.

uncertain about long-term viability. focusing on current trends might keep it relevant for a while.
