Hey there, I'm trying to set up a quiet music production system with gaming as an extra use. I was thinking about using the i9-9900k, but noticed its thermal design temperature is 65°C instead of the 9900k's 95°C. Does this suggest I can run my H115i RGB Platinum at lower speeds with less noise compared to the 9900k while maintaining similar performance, or is the 9900k just a cheaper option with reduced efficiency? Thanks.

Essentially, the 9900 is secured and cannot be overclocked. If you don’t intend to overclock it, choose the 9900. Regarding noise, the Noctua NH-D15 air cooler operates more quietly compared to water cooling.

For music production, I wouldn't recommend an AIO since the pump tends to be very loud. A larger air cooler would be a far superior choice.

This will include quiet adapters to minimize noise. Simply attach them and there will be no sound.
