The 4700MQ features a standard long-term TDP cap of 47W. The immediate restriction is 20% greater, which means PL2 is adjusted to 56W. At the outset, when using default configurations, it may briefly operate at maximum capacity during this test, but it automatically reduces over time to stay within the 47W threshold. Thanks to the power limit trick, it can maintain its full rated performance with a steady 34.00 multiplier without ever surpassing the 47W limit. The CPU confirms that its consumption remains only 3.4W, eliminating any need for throttling.

The CPU believes it's operating at 3.4W, which is unreal. It seems you adjusted the IMON settings significantly so 47W looks like 3.4W.

The 4th generation mobile CPUs employed another method, yet they achieved the same outcome. The reported power usage isn't directly measured in Intel CPUs; it's based on calculations. By using certain techniques, the actual power consumption figures can be altered.

I’ve unlocked the advanced bios. Wow, there are so many choices! This is going to be a tough task to figure everything out.
