Hello, I hope you understand. I’m trying to set up Windows 10 but don’t have many spare USB sticks. Can I restore the USB drive after installation? Also, what’s the size of the installation files in gigabytes? Is a 4GB drive sufficient? Appreciate your help!

You can adjust the settings based on your needs. A 4GB option works, but it varies with the image size. Your official 10LTSB 1506 model holds 3.6GB, while newer home builds are larger. Consider using 8GB for better performance.

You can utilize the 4Gb drive, and you can also repurpose the USB later—just format it with a tool like Windows built-in.

You can prepare the USB after finishing the installation. The Mickeysoft site recommends a minimum size of 4 gigabytes. Once the OS is installed, right-click the USB in your file manager and select "format." It will prompt, "Are you sure?" and you should confirm. Then the USB is ready for use just like any other drive.
