The images and videos you’ve seen appear blurry on your PC, even at high resolutions like 1440p or higher. It seems the developers are employing a similar rendering method to previous Xbox titles while capping the display at 720p. I was really excited about this game, but the launch didn’t meet expectations. Now it feels like a joke that an AAA title in 2016 is restricted to such low resolutions, especially after seeing 1600p/1440p screens for years.
As I thought before the release, they kept using the temporal upscaling method on the Xbone. When you set the game to 4K, it actually shows up at 1440p. It’s pretty slow, but even with the performance boost, it still feels like a mess on all systems. Microsoft messed this up again. This is the fourth time.
It's surprising they would compromise quality on a long-developed AAA title. Still, it looks like Microsoft might not fully understand PC gaming despite creating Windows.
Too bad there's no crack. But then again, I wouldn't waste my time playing that garbage of a port.
