I updated my setup with a new module (Ryzen 3600 with B450 Tomahawk Max) right after powering on. The system displayed a message about new memory and asked for setup or clearing CMOS. After completing the installation, I enabled XMP settings and saved changes, then restarted the machine. My task manager now shows the correct frequency of 3600MHz. I’m wondering if a stress test is necessary to confirm stability, especially since I haven’t experienced any crashes yet.

You're welcome to try, but if everything looks good, stick with it. Any issues will be the point where you should test it.

Execute cinebench multiple times; if it fails, proceed with mem test. Successful cinebench indicates stability.

Cinebench isn't ideal for testing RAM since it relies on the CPU to display images, with memory clock speeds having minimal impact. A reliable benchmark is Prime 95; you can attempt it to check for any issues.

Absolutely correct. OP might simply perform a memory test for 10 to 15 minutes, which often reveals an issue.

Yes, you can manage that. Memtest runs slowly but thoroughly, often needing several hours to complete.

Currently, my system operates smoothly and I've confirmed performance in demanding games such as Division 2 and Watch Dogs Legion.
