Hey there, I've got an x99 deluxe motherboard with an i7 5930k. I was planning to upgrade to 64 GB RAM, so I bought a kit on eBay for $200. After installation, everything worked well until I started seeing errors like Unexpected kernel mode trap, Windows boot manager saying it failed to start, and memory diagnostics reporting issues. I asked for a refund and got a new kit, but now it's having its own problems. After installing everything, I noticed a BF/6F error code suggesting a memory issue. I replaced the sticks one by one, but most showed error 53. Eventually, I managed to get a working stick, but when I tried two, only one worked. After some adjustments, four sticks functioned, yet once more the system detected just two. I made sure XMP was set correctly and the BIOS was updated. Am I really dealing with bad used RAM, or is there a problem with the motherboard?
