Check if the system requires two 8-pin connectors. With just one, it might not power on. Make sure your motherboard supports dual 8-pin connections for the i5-14600K.

It shouldn't require both. You might have to switch to the alternative outlet if the first one doesn't work.

It doesn't seem to be the issue here. The connectors work in parallel, meaning only one needs to be connected to activate, and an 8-pin plug can handle around 400W. The second connector is mainly needed for the higher power models if you want to disable limits. Your problem might lie elsewhere. Could you provide the complete specifications and check which debug lights are on?

I'm not sure why it's not turning on. The PSU isn't activating.

Start by ensuring all PSU cables are securely connected, focusing on the 24-pin connection. Verify the power button is properly attached to the motherboard and works correctly. Then perform the paperclip test on the PSU to confirm it’s functional. Refer to the provided guide for further details: https://www.silverstonetek.com/upload/do.../PSU-Paper Clip-EN.pdf

Reviewed the connectors. All seems normal. The PSU powers up using the pin approach, but the board doesn’t. I received the motherboard recently. Uncertain if it was defective when it left the factory.

Confirming the connections with the power button. Would you like me to test shorting them manually using a knife or screwdriver to check the button's functionality? If unsuccessful, consider returning the board as it may be defective. This issue occurs occasionally, so you might be the unlucky recipient. A refund should be possible in theory.

Sure. I attempted to bypass it manually, but it didn’t work. Guess it’s just a coincidence. Appreciate the help!
