Yeah, you need to do full reinstall for this. So it doesn't matter if software don't work right away. All 32bit software will work, same to all 64bit software. For things where you can select which to use, you need to create shortcut from 64bit launcher. In BF4s case its option in Origin. With older laptops there can be problems with drivers, but modern desktops don't have that.
Perform a fresh driver setup and everything else should work properly.
