Consider upgrading your PC from Windows 7 32-bit to 64-bit. Your system should handle the change without issues, as your CPU supports 64-bit and your programs are already running in that mode. You likely won’t need to update or reinstall anything unless you encounter specific program restrictions. Just ensure your hardware meets the requirements for a 64-bit OS.

When you set up 32-bit applications on Windows, they are placed in the Program Files (x86) directory.

Everything functions properly. You’ll have full access to your RAM and be able to execute 64-bit applications.

You can install the 64-bit version and download BF4 immediately, but expect some in-game issues and bugs.

In theory, yes. Results might differ, but success is highly probable.

It seems you need a fresh start, so everything will have to be reinstalled. Your drivers will need updating as well.

Yeah, you need to do full reinstall for this. So it doesn't matter if software don't work right away. All 32bit software will work, same to all 64bit software. For things where you can select which to use, you need to create shortcut from 64bit launcher. In BF4s case its option in Origin. With older laptops there can be problems with drivers, but modern desktops don't have that.

Perform a fresh driver setup and everything else should work properly.

Would you like to try tools like CCleaner or erase everything on your hard drive?

Store your important files in another partition and then follow the Windows 7 64 bit setup process directly.
