I just completed my initial PC setup but it isn’t displaying anything on the screen. I repositioned the entire motherboard to inspect for any shorts, checked the CPU, GPU, RAM, SSD, and all power connections. All fans spin up and heat up slightly, and the status indicators illuminate one by one before shutting off. I also tested the monitor and cables on another device; it works fine with the GPU connected. My main concern is that the GPU’s HDMI might not be functioning properly. Anyone have suggestions? CPU: Intel Core i5-12400F 2.5 GHz 6-core (Amazon $108.99) CPU cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 90 SE 32.77 CFM ($23.29) Motherboard: ASRock B660M Pro RS Micro ATX LGA1700 ($107.99) RAM: Silicon Power GAMING 32 GB DDR4-3200 CL16 ($63.97) Storage: TEAMGROUP MP44L 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 ($57.99) Case: Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV ATX Mid Tower ($69.98) GPU: Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 5700XT 8GB GDDR6 ($63.97) Power supply: MSI MAG A650BN 650W (80+ Bronze) ($72.54) Monitor: MSI PRO MP225 21.5" (1920x1080, 100Hz) ($69.98) Custom: iVANKY DisplayPort 1.4 Cable 6.6ft (8K@60Hz, 4K@144Hz, HBR3, 32.4Gbps, HDR) ($8.78) I didn’t find a display port on my monitor either.

Consider changing the cable, yet what duration do you keep the system active? Based on the time it remains in this condition, it might only be memory exercises.

Consider removing the mobile from the case onto simple cardboard and make just the necessary connections using a TV. A RAM without a F CPU might have assisted in this situation. Edited August 3, 2025 by leclod

It turns out the HDMI connection on my graphics card wasn't working. Using a DP to HDMI converter resolved the issue!
