The issue seems to depend on the connection method. When using Wi-Fi, you don't get full IPv4 connectivity, which affects sites like Steam and Origin. But with Ethernet, it works perfectly. Try checking your network settings or router configuration to ensure proper IP assignment and port forwarding if needed.

Do you have an assigned APIPA address or do you actually possess a static or dynamic IP? Is your wireless connection operating on a separate IP range compared to the wired setup? Attempted network diagnostics while connected wirelessly, used flushdns, etc., and tried pinging known IPs to check reachability but not FQDNs. For example, ping 8.8.8.8.

Connecting through Wi-Fi is better when Ethernet is present because the cable offers greater stability and, according to the claim, higher speed.

My suggestion: Restart the router. Many internet issues stem from excess data in the router's memory. Make sure it has enough airflow. Turn off your PC and reconnect to WiFi. If you're on 2.4GHz, interference could be present. Common sources are baby monitors or a neighbor's network using the same channel. This band is especially busy now. Look for driver updates for your wireless card. Prefer wired connections for better stability.

The driver update resolved the issue; it would have been better to try sooner. Thanks everyone.

It seems the test was successful. I checked both Ethernet and WiFi connections, and WiFi consistently outperformed Ethernet by a significant margin of over 20 Mbps.

It seems like the connection quality is extremely poor. Either the cable or the router isn't working well, and it's hard to achieve faster Wi-Fi than a traditional cable link.
