Changed from 13700k to X870E and 9800x3d. Starting Windows with no internet via Ethernet and the included antenna. Thinking about possible problems before formatting or updating BIOS. 9800X3D with ASUS ROG X870E-E

I thought this was the case but after installing the chipset drivers it didn't make much difference. The device manager lists devices without available drivers.

That's exactly what you were searching for—I'll give it a try soon. Is the antenna designed to be plug-and-play? I don't recall how it worked on my last project. Also, should I install all the software there?

It doesn't include a USB flash drive with drivers, nor does it auto-install from the Armory Crate within the BIOS.
