I started Ubuntu from a USB drive, but when I open the desktop or check network settings, there are no connections available. Neither my home WiFi nor the hotspot near my laptop works. I haven’t installed Ubuntu yet and am only in the "Try Ubuntu" mode. Tj

You've encountered the same problem with multiple USB Wi-Fi adapters. It seems to be related to driver issues. Unfortunately, I can't provide a genuine fix.

It looks like there aren't enough drivers available when using a live USB drive.

Occasionally, certain WiFi cards require extra drivers to function properly.

It was just put in on your hard drive and should have all the necessary drivers. I attempted to restart the network-manager as suggested by others online, but it didn’t work.
