No internet connection in my space
I've kept the router in my room because it's near the main computer, but we switched to cable TV last week and moved the router to the living room. Now I enjoy watching soccer there with a better connection, though the signal in my room is weak. I have an Ethernet cable from the router to my main PC, which I sometimes use as a hotspot, but it isn't ideal. I'm looking into ways to use that cable to set up a permanent Wi-Fi network while still having a wired connection for faster downloads on my computer without linking the main PC to the new network.
Consider powerline adapters, which cost around $40 to $60 for two. Verify they support your network speed—like 1200Mbps or higher for gigabit connections.
