I recently finished a relocation with a fresh modem and router. After a couple of days, the internet went down completely, yet it stayed linked to the network on both Ethernet and Wi-Fi. It also refused to join a guest network, which some reported as the main problem. On my PC, I only had no internet access, especially after testing my Windows setup—possibly due to a driver update, BIOS changes, or a firewall/security software. The network troubleshooter flagged security or firewall as blocking the connection. I’m unsure if disabling the firewall resolved it, though I might have done it incorrectly. I have a Windows key from an organization that could be used for free Windows, but I’m unsure how to remove the organization account or delete the key. It indicated my Windows access would expire soon. Any advice would be appreciated.
