You're facing issues installing Win 7 Pro 64 on multiple drives, consistently seeing only the install wallpaper without progress. You're using a USB 2 flash drive connected via a USB 2 port. Attempts to boot random drives for cleanup or driver updates have failed, except for one system with a 780i chipset that you can boot normally but cannot enter safe mode. You're considering switching the drive to another system and reinstalling it fresh on the X48 Rampage Extreme.

You're experiencing issues with your USB flash drive and Rufus. The software worked previously on an X99 system, but you're still facing the same problem. Consider trying different methods or checking for updates.

Yes, I've given it a try and waited a few minutes.

I agree, using the stick during each clean install makes the menu appear instantly. I currently have a system on a phase change cooler for CPU cooling, and I didn’t think it would take much time to set up. Installing an air cooler wouldn’t be easy without insulating the board.

Interesting. Did you verify the installer on a different platform recently?

Got it on the ASUS P5N73-AM. The REX stayed longer than expected on the NFS board, huh? You were probably right to wait.
