The RX6900XT MERC XFX card stopped functioning suddenly after a year and a couple of months. The debug VGA LED stayed lit, indicating an issue with the card. This problem occurred during installation, but reseating it and checking drivers resolved it before. Recently, the system would attempt to connect via display port even without the cable, but now it fails completely. I’m trying to see if my brother’s 1660 works in his setup and test the 6900 there, as this seems unusual. Motherboard: MSI B550 CPU 5950X, AMD RAM, CORSAIR 16GB, VENGEANCE PRO RGB 3600MHZ.

I've rearranged everything again, reinitialized the BIOS, attempted to switch BIOS on the card, and tested the 8x port. Still nothing has resolved the issue.

The setup suggests using HDMI instead of DP. If Windows boots, you can switch to safe mode and use DDU.

When the display cables aren't connected, it posts, but that stopped this morning and now it doesn't post at all.
