For those who have already upgraded, you're welcome! There are numerous discussions about issues, so some users are facing challenges. I won't be upgrading at the moment to avoid these problems.

I encountered two problems. One was my mistake in not updating drivers earlier, and the other involved Virtual Monitors for Quick Sync being set to my default display, which I didn’t realize.

I improved the night it launched, performed a fresh setup, and there have been no issues. Absolutely, I'm happy about it.

I appreciate it. I can't view images now, but at least it appears improved compared to Windows 7.

Sure, let's break this down. Windows 7 support is wrapping up soon—maintenance ends in early 2020, and extended support will stop on the 14th. In five years, no security patches will be released. Upgrading to Windows 10 is free, but mainstream support for new features ends October 13, 2020, and extended security updates will stop on October 14, 2025. That gives a bit more than five years of protection. It makes sense to upgrade just for that.

As for the drivers, I've heard complaints about NVIDIA's software causing issues. I'm okay as long as version 353.62 is installed before switching. Keeping the latest drivers will help smooth the transition.

For AMD, I don't have much insight yet—probably similar to the situation with Windows. Make sure your OS is up-to-date and choose a reliable viewer if you switch.

You have until July 29, 2016, to get the free key and ensure a smooth upgrade. You can adjust your settings in the picture menu for better viewing, or use a custom viewer like IrfanView instead of the default.

Let me know if you need more details!

I'm happy about the upgrade. For now, I'm not too excited about Windows 10—though it's definitely better than Windows 8. Seeing something new is fun, but I'm looking forward to what's next.

Definitely glad I upgraded, I prefer the look to windows 7 and so far only had 1 driver issue and I didn't do a clean install.

I'm honestly stuck upgrading my desktop yet I really dislike using two different operating systems.
