I placed an order for a 1.0 gram tube from Amazon and came across some posts about sellers offering fake counterfeit thermal paste for this brand. I'm cautious about using it on my CPU. The package included a verification card that claimed authenticity during the online purchase, but I’m unsure if that can be easily duplicated. There were also reports suggesting the black tube might be fake. I apologize if my concern seems excessive—this sounds like a tricky question! https://imgur.com/a/n5oDlin Here’s what it looks like: the label appears slightly worn, though I’m not sure.

Not really sure what more you want. Even having a verification card for a tube of TIM is ridiculous if you ask me. It'll be fine. Even if it's actually the cheapest TIM in a fake tube, it's still fine to use.

It's been a while since I purchased it, but my original tube appeared to be this way: If the paste isn't dense enough, it's 100% fake.

Hello, thank you for reaching out. I understand your concerns about this purchase. I bought it from AliExpress for 4.6 USD, which raises some doubts. Since I placed the order yesterday, delivery should take about a month or two. The product has a strong reputation with 97.4% positive feedback and many reviews, including several 5-star ratings. I’m just curious if you suspect it might be counterfeit. Have you had any experience buying from AliExpress before? Also, could you know how to verify the authenticity of the paste upon receipt?

You might choose Aliexpress because the price seems similar to authorized sellers, yet it raises a higher chance of receiving a counterfeit product compared to trusted platforms like Amazon.

I didn't find any alternative options except amazon.in at 40 USD. It seems the price isn't matching what you expect for your location. Did you think a lower price of around 5 dollars would be available?

My current position is here, plus a few international Amazon stores. I didn’t know where you are, which might explain the confusion.

Well, actually, it's not as serious as I initially believed. Appreciate the details—it's boosted my confidence about getting an authentic item.
