Yes, you can choose between a full reinstall or an update. Also, the Windows 8.1 product keys won’t apply to Windows 10 ISO.

You don't have to reinstall. Just plug it into a USB drive and use Windows to access the setup inside. You can upgrade and maintain your files without entering any keys. This worked for me with Windows 8.1 too.

Not planning an upgrade just yet. The software I manage hasn’t been adjusted for W10 yet, and I won’t be using it in comp mode.
