I don’t have the resources for a lot of this, but I’m still working through the process. All the features that aren’t working are the only ones affected.

I mostly stick with the Windows 98 look, but I found the Aero theme works great. I haven’t started Windows in a while—about three weeks—so I’m not using it much right now.

I'm not sure what you're referring to. Could you clarify?

I enjoy aero. It’s one of the main reasons I don’t like 8/8.1. Using XP for about a decade really helped me appreciate the updated default look of 7.

I set it to 8 with aero disabled. I have lots of RAM, but high contrast is active, so aero isn’t needed. Aero works well overall, though I don’t feel the need for it in hot conditions.

Yes on your desktop, no on your laptop since the equipment isn't strong enough. Aero works, but it becomes sluggish when you turn it on.

No way, I was really happy when it left behind Windows 8. It’s hard to believe someone could have such a sleek, glossy, round appearance… completely flat and square.
