Someone claimed you could play BF1 with ultra settings on a Pentium G4560 and GTX 1060 with 3GB of VRAM, but another person dismissed your claim as nonsense. It’s possible depending on the game version and system configuration.

You're asking about limitations when using high settings on your RIG or a friend's setup. The main issue is that running games at ultra settings typically reduces frame rate, so performance drops.

It's feasible, but you might not achieve high FPS at 1080p ultra resolution.

You can execute Ultra using Less. It runs slower, but it will work. Even GPUs from seven years back can handle Ultra, though not smoothly enough for playability, but Ultraspec will function. OP - You should check FRAMETIMES with your friend. (Not FPS, Frametime)

Your friend understands you well, and you can push Ultra to any card you choose. Details like FPS and resolution matter depending on what you specify.
