No, I don't recommend Outlast.
Hey, what do you think? The game is on a flash sale for around $2.50. I’m not familiar with it much, but I’m curious about your opinion. I tend to do things like opening the game, getting into the sp00ky part for 15 seconds, saying “NOPE NOPE!” when it’s not what I expect, uninstalling it, and even throwing the PC away. Is this the game worth it? Or is it just a messy, gore-filled experience for those who enjoy it?
Similar to Dead Space? Initially it felt intense, but over time I adapted, and it became predictable, almost dull.
Absolutely, enjoy it! I played the game with friends, experienced some jump scares, and then immediately removed it:3
I was frustrated... tried to play it, but soon lost interest while exploring in the dark. Removed it. The game becomes quite challenging as it progresses. I’ve seen the conclusion and it looks like that game turns very dark.
Thanks for your input, I think I'll allocate those $2 USD toward a portal or the next sale.
