I installed it on my PC today and the Ryzen 7 9700x was overheating even when idle, so I’m looking to lower its voltage but can’t locate advanced settings since my motherboard model is B650M.

They tend to get warm when idle, which is normal for these processors. They don’t worry about staying cool at any specific temperature.
