No high-speed charging available on the motherboard.
Hi everyone, I've been using this motherboard for some time (link provided). From what I've noticed when downloading drivers, it seems to support fast charging via the back ports, likely the Type C. However, my Galaxy S10 isn't charging quickly through it. I checked if the cable might be the issue and found a Type C to Type C cable that claims up to 100W. Do you think I might be missing something? Could it be one of the unlabeled Type A ports that are meant for charging? Thanks for your advice. P.S. I've already installed the USB supercharger driver.
The manual and Newegg specifications don't mention fast charging. You might want to test different USB ports or contact MSI for more details. Good luck!
From what I understand, neither the specification page nor the manual references Fast Charging. The only related mention seems to be about installing a driver for charging Apple devices via USB2.0 ports. It’s possible the driver was labeled with “Fast Charging” because other models of your socket or chipset motherboard might support it. This wouldn’t be unexpected from a vendor’s perspective. Not all products include features listed in a driver, as they may not be compatible with every device.
I received it from MSI Dragon Centre, not the drivers page. I’m curious why they included it for me if it wasn’t available there.
Probably a mixup, my motherboard has fast charging, it's indicated in the manual and explains what USB port is compatible and does mentions the super charger app, but I don't see that in your motherboard manual. For comparaison, here my MB manual ; https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/...own-manual
Alright, I tried to stay positive. I invested a lot on this board, thinking it would work out, right?
