Hello, I recently assembled a new PC with a Gigabyte X870E Aorus Pro motherboard and a Gigabyte 5070 Ti Gaming OC graphics card. The card is quite large, and the board features extensive cooling plates and similar components. I’m confident it was installed properly. There was a noticeable "click" sound during installation, and everything aligned perfectly with the backplate. I also moved the click device before putting it in. The GPU isn’t listed in BIOS or Windows 11, but fans and RGB lighting are active on the card. It receives power straight from the PSU via a 600W PCIe connection. I attempted to use Device Manager to locate it, but had no success. I also tried installing a driver from nVidia, though the GPU wasn’t detected. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The device supports two BIOS configurations. Look for a physical switch on your card. Updating the motherboard's BIOS can help improve performance.

Verify your PCIe status in the BIOS—it could be disabled or configured for a card. Always check the card slot, the card itself, and any connectors to ensure it’s not the BIOS.

Thank you for your update. The BIOS is now running the latest version. The card includes a manual switch for switching between silent mode and performance mode. Should I attempt to use it in either setting? I reviewed the BIOS settings and it defaults to using the PCIe1 lane. It’s possible that a device appears as a peripheral linked to that lane, but it might not be recognized as a graphics card since no NVidia drivers are installed. It could help to record any related problems. I noticed recurring black screens or BSoDs when launching Windows. This was my first time encountering this issue after installing fresh drivers for the motherboard in the specific order: a complete fresh install of Windows, all updates, and then MB drivers. After that, I cleared the drive and performed a full reinstall, but nothing else worked. Following this, I flashed the BIOS right after installing Windows and its updates, yet the problems persisted, showing up again after installing MB drivers. The situation remains unresolved, and I’m finding it difficult. It seems to happen only after installing the motherboard drivers. Could this be related to a particular driver—likely the graphics card driver for MB—or a compatibility issue between certain Windows updates and the driver? Others have reported similar challenges. I’m considering trying to install all MB drivers individually, skipping the built-in graphics driver, to see if that resolves the matter.

PCIe is configured for 16x speed. I've tested various display ports and cables. Regarding the GPU, it's a specific model from a manufacturer.
