I notice it since I'm running on a previous GPU I owned, but I can't keep it active indefinitely because I need to rely on the integrated graphics. Without that older GPU, I'm not receiving a display signal and the BIOS isn't working.

Disconnect the power source, detach the GPU, insert the monitor into the motherboard, remove the CMOS battery from the motherboard, press the power button for about 30 seconds, then reinsert the battery and restart the PC. If this doesn't work:

Begin by turning off the PC and removing the heatsink. Wipe away any residue and check the CPU top—look for labels like i7-13700, i7-13700F, i7-13700K, or i7-13700KF. If a "F" appears on the heat spreader, the chip isn't an integrated graphics unit.

Next, carefully extract the CPU from its socket. Inspect the motherboard's front panel for any pin damage and examine the back of the CPU for any debris or moisture that could disrupt connections.

There seems to be no standard method to reset CMOS on most motherboards.

I'm curious about repositioning the CPU. You're right to consider memory channels and pin connections—overheating or poor wiring could affect performance. Switching ports might help too; for example, using DisplayPort instead of HDMI could offer better compatibility.

There's usually a button or jumper, or just remove the battery.
