I’m dealing with a lot of different tools and projects across various platforms. Managing files from school apps, personal gaming, and hobby projects can be really tricky to organize. I considered splitting everything into separate operating systems on my desktop using Esxi—like Chrome for school stuff, Windows for games, and Linux for hobbies. I’ve tried Esxi before in a home lab, so I’m confident it’s manageable. My main concern is performance, especially when gaming, not whether the switch will actually slow things down.

I’ll likely keep windows open on your desktop, try dual boot or VMs on top for ease. You can also switch to various user accounts. ESXI can be tricky with GPU support if you need solid gaming performance.
