There are several choices available, but it's hard to decide which one is best.

Sure, I can help with that. Could you share your computer's specifications, including the model names? It might help clarify whether your CPU lacks a dedicated GPU or if there are other factors affecting performance.

It seems to be an older setup with a mix of Intel and AMD components. The system includes a Core 2 Duo E7400, Intel Core 2 Duo, AMD Radeon 6870, and a couple of drives. You mentioned a cooler and a 250 GB storage—does that match what you have?

It seems to be an older setup with a Core 2 Duo processor, Intel graphics, and a decent cooler. The RAM is 4GB, but the brand isn’t specified. You mentioned a few components like a 6870 GPU, a 250GB drive, and a cooler from Cooler Master. What else are you looking for?

Your CPU does not have integrated graphics so what I told you about disabling it from BIOS doesn't make much sense, sorry, I should have asked for specs before. Steam reports minimum requirements for the game: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E6600 or AMD Phenom™ X3 8750 processor or better Memory: 2 GB RAM Graphics: Video card must be 256 MB or more and should be a DirectX 9-compatible with support for Pixel So your system seems to be well in specs to run at least with low presets. Here a link to a video showing a similar system running the game, this is what you should expect. You already installed new drivers and didn't help. I suppose the GPU is also properly seated or else you would't have any picture showed on your screen. What I would try next is to make sure the card is properly connected to the power supply and receives enough power to run. What model and Wattage your power supply have?

I believe the card provides sufficient power. Running the fuzzy donut of death benchmark pushes it to full load at 100%. My PSU is a 400W cooler master, as mentioned earlier. Also, when you remove the Radeon GPU and connect the VGA to the motherboard, the image appears on the screen.

The video you received is set to the highest level. My current settings don’t match that.
