Windows identified certain steam games as threats. Opening the executable shows Windows removing them due to suspicion of being malicious. After using these games for some time, I’m not sure they’re still there. To recover them or stop this from affecting other programs, you can use Avast and Malwarebytes.

It doesn't provide virus alerts from Steam. That hasn't happened to you.

I've faced similar problems without any reason. I just added the whole Steam folder to my antivirus whitelist. Not a great move, but hey, it's all in good fun, right?

You're asking about the current version of Windows and why it might be using a different security tool. It seems Windows Defender isn't performing well, and if you're on an older system, another antivirus solution is handling the protection.
