I'm seeking this info because my laptop overheats quicker than with other visually heavy games like Far Cry 4. It suggests another component besides the GPU is getting strain. Also, Forza Motorsport 6 features AI racers that demand more CPU power. Is it really a CPU-heavy title?

You don’t know if the game uses a lot of CPU power, but you can test it using MSI Afterburner to monitor how each core of the CPU and GPU is performing.

I understood the drive was functioning since I stored my games on the HDD, which raised the temperature from 28 to 30 degrees. The spinning hard drive also contributed to making the system noisier.

Certainly doing anything on your device will speed up its decline. The extent of this loss is what matters most. The quick response isn’t sufficient to cause concern. Solid-state drives are built to handle thousands of terabytes of information, and some can store multiple petabytes. This means they should remain functional for many years, possibly surpassing the lifespan of your computer itself.
