I purchased this monitor, but I encountered poor control settings in the panel. I was attempting to locate the firmware for update or installation to fix the problem, yet I couldn’t find it. I’ve attached screenshots of the control panel and the monitor details. The manufacturer’s site isn’t helpful, and searching for firmware or model information didn’t yield results. My main concern is adjusting the white point—it’s too bright, and most grays appear completely missing. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
I would reach out via email through their support section on the site and ask them directly. I wasn’t able to locate any available firmware, so it seems they don’t offer one for users.
I verified the monitor lacks firmware updates and none of the CRU monitors are offering this feature. Some companies prefer to cut costs in this way.
Sadly most monitors don’t receive firmware updates. I’ve only had a few that did. There’s always a possibility an update was made for newer models but hasn’t been shared online. I’d recommend checking @Hinjima’s advice to reach out to their support team. You never know what they might have. If they share it on Archive.org, or if you prefer, send the file over and I’ll handle it.
