Absolutely, I agree. It's a genuine sentiment.

Currently, I'm mostly engaged in CSGO to improve my skills, but I don't find it enjoyable.

It seems you're feeling drained. Give yourself a pause. Rediscover joy.

Absolutely, taking a pause can help. There are definitely some games that stand out and keep players engaged longer. I spent over an hour on Just Cause 2 and just 20 minutes on Witcher 3—talk about a difference in quality! I enjoyed Witcher 2 a lot and hope I’ll revisit Witcher 3 eventually. Breaks really do help!

It's typical, though if the game provides console access, you can experiment and enjoy yourself a lot.

It was about a year ago when this happened. My job became more demanding. I began dating someone. I spend over ten hours daily at my desk, and playing video games no longer brings me relaxation. Now we’re engaged, and she’s interested in gaming together. Life keeps changing—things rise and fall. Most people I’ve played with were married with kids, who had recently rekindled their love for gaming. They’d spend a couple of hours each night a few evenings. You never really know what’s coming next.

Between 2009 and 2012 I spent around 40 hours weekly on PC games, often with friends playing Lans or Multiplayer online. As adulthood and work took over, my gaming time dropped to about 8 hours a week. Now I don’t feel the same excitement or drive I had in my early twenties. I’ve only played GTA V lately and am trying to finish Skyrim before moving on to Fallout 4.
