No energía para la placa base
Everything on your motherboard looks assembled and correct, yet it won’t power up when you touch the power switch with a screwdriver. There’s no display or LED to show anything, and the fans aren’t starting. All cables are connected properly and everything seems installed correctly—CPU, RAM, storage, heatsink, cooler, and graphics card are all in place. I’ve followed each step of the guide accurately, and my components match the instructions. Still, there’s no power for the pre-built test. What could be causing this issue?
I successfully connected power to the motherboard and opened Windows, but the case fans still wouldn’t activate. After taking apart the motherboard, I plugged in all SATA and USB cables, though I’m uncertain about the steps since the manual guidance was unclear. I connected a wire labeled "13 FU LST" to SYSFAN1 and USB to JUSB1, while linking SATA to the PSU extenders. The motherboard is an MPG 2490 Gaming Plus, paired with an EVGA Supernova 750 GT PSU and an Obsidian Series 500D RGB case. All cables except the SATA ones that came with add-on drives were in place, yet power failed completely. Even after removing the SATA and peripheral cables, no activation occurred.
