Windows 8.1 performs better than Windows 7 at the core level. I'm excited about the upcoming version and tried the previous one—it really impressed me!

They say you can receive a free upgrade by using Windows 8 or 8.1, even if your PC is still running Windows 7.

Many people have misunderstood this before and have been clarified. The free upgrade applies for the initial twelve months of Windows 10, and if you opt for it, your license becomes permanent after one year, so no further charges are needed. Users with Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 can also receive a free upgrade, with detailed information available on Microsoft’s site. How challenging is this?
