I recently purchased an ARGB controller to manage my fan lights since I don’t have an ARGB header on my motherboard. After assembling everything, the lights functioned correctly. However, I wanted to use Master+ software to control them. When launching the software, it reported no supported devices were found, even though I believe it should work with my DeepCool FC120 fans. During setup, I connected the USB port on the motherboard to the controller, linked the ARGB fan cables, provided power via SATA, and used a PWM connector on the motherboard’s CPU fan header—plus a matching cable with a female end. The controller itself only had an ARGB fan PWM cable, not a separate PWM cable for the actual fans. I considered possibly connecting the PWM cable from the controller to the fan hub instead. Could this be the reason Master+ isn’t detecting any devices? In Windows Device Manager it shows one device with a failure message, likely pointing to the controller as the issue. The ARGB controller page you shared appears to be accurate.
