No dispositivo de arranque encontrado
Hey everyone. I just assembled my first computer and tried using F8 to attempt a Windows installation with the flash drive connected. It kept saying there was no boot drive detected. I'm not sure what to do next or how to resolve this issue. Any advice would be really helpful!
Absolutely! I utilized the Windows 10 media creation utility.
Ensure UEFI is active and CSM is turned off if applicable. For SATA devices, set the controller to AHCI. Activate fTPM, Intel PTT, or dTPM (for Windows 11). Try connecting your USB flash drive directly via the motherboard’s main port or rear USB slot. If needed, enable Legacy mode in the UEFI settings and confirm USB storage support is enabled.
When the USB BIOS isn’t available, consult the motherboard guide or look up a detailed tutorial online. If the BIOS is present and set up properly for booting—including internal clock settings—but still fails to recognize the bootloader (assuming it’s installed correctly)—try connecting it to a different USB port. If that doesn’t help, switch to another USB drive from a different manufacturer.
