So. Last night we assembled a pc. It functioned perfectly until we went to sleep. It looks like something went wrong, though. I’m not sure what happened—my screen shows all blank with a 99 in the bottom corner, and the VGA light is on the motherboard.

Consider removing the CMOS battery for a short time to reset the system. Turn off the device and unplug the power cord, then take out the CMOS battery if present. Also, disconnect all USB peripherals except the keyboard and mouse.

Consider removing the CMOS by unplugging the power cord and taking out the battery for a moment. Take off all USB devices except the keyboard and mouse. I won't tell you what it means.
