Hello, I recently purchased a new PC with these specifications: GPU RX 570 4GB, CPU i3 9100F, 8GB RAM, 2400MB Kingston memory, and a 500W Silverstone PSU. After assembling and turning it on, it worked for about 10 to 11 seconds before shutting off again and restarting. When I checked the screen, there was no display. I assumed the issue was related to the graphics card and submitted a warranty claim. When I tested it again, the problem persisted. I used a buzzer to identify the issue, but I’m not sure what those beeps mean or why the sound is so weak.
The audio cues during startup aren't clearly audible in the video. Are you certain the monitor is connected to the graphics card, or is it linked to the motherboard?
The monitor is connected to the GPU. I believe there are 5 or 6 beeps in the top video, and turning it off and then back on makes them happen again. Do you think this is related to RAM? Because when I disconnect the RAM or insert it, these beeps occur.
It might be possible, but first verify what those sounds mean. I looked up Gigabyte’s FAQ and saw the information here: https://www.gigabyte.com/Support/FAQ/816. The message you’re hearing could indicate a CPU issue.
The motherboard runs AMI BIOS, and receiving five short beeps indicates a CPU issue.
