Hey there! Yeah, you can definitely use your old optical drive with the MOBO. Since you already have Windows 10 installed on a CD and the software ready, it should work fine. Just connect the drive to the MOBO and place it nearby while you install your components. Once everything is set up, you can remove it later if needed. You're welcome, that's definitely possible. Since my PC and laptop lack a traditional optical drive, I recommend purchasing a USB 3.0 external DVD drive. I personally use it to burn copied movies for sharing with friends.

You can simply transfer the ISO to a USB drive and install it, then use the product key from the CD.
