I had just 20 minutes to swap the board or attempt an update. Wrong move—I swapped in an ASUS TUF X570, but guess what? The fan won’t start. The RGB on the motherboard still works... it’s been over 30 years building my PC, and this one’s going to be a real pain.

Lol. Great job getting a good laugh. I’ve dealt with this problem a lot here. You’re definitely not alone, believe me.

It's mostly functioning well. I'm experiencing a strange problem with videos, possibly due to a poor Windows installation. Thanks everyone!

I'm trying to get back in and help, but when I start Windows I see the logo and spin a bit before it goes black. I've installed Windows 10 three times, and the second and third times I took my time. The installation took about an hour on purpose, and I never lost any video. I've used two different graphics cards, tried booting in safe mode, uninstalled drivers, and left it running for 15 minutes without any problems. What could I be missing?

Check your BIOS settings or, if you're on desktop in safe mode, see what idle temperatures are showing. This might help identify a faulty surface mount or CPU heat sink. I'm taking a break right now but this is the initial step I'd consider.

What's the room temperature? It looks like your CPU cooler isn't cooling properly—maybe the paste isn't right or the clamp isn't secure enough.

Panel side is missing. The box looks like an old Coolermaster, though I can't recall the exact model.
