Performance mode is showing 30 Max Settings DLSS, but Quality is only displaying 20. That’s unusual—DLSS should ideally match the native resolution of 1420p. It looks like there might be a mismatch between settings or display configuration.

You’d likely need a GPU with native 4090 support for that. A 1080p setup would probably perform similarly.

DLSS works mostly at 1080 resolution, with only a small extra cost; the impact won’t be huge, though I’ll verify. I haven’t checked the 3000-series options since I didn’t plan to purchase one.

I notice minor variations. I’ve taken all possible steps to lower costs. Turned off the Steam overlay, Xbox clutter, background services, and other adjustments to boost performance. How are you measuring FPS? With the overlay I see 18-25 frames per second, likely a bit higher with it off but not clearly visible without it.

Not suggesting you can't just jump into this at this setting—it’s not worth the confusion. If you’re really craving the experience, I’d try the AMD option; it’s solid tech and runs on NVidia cards. Check out this mod on NexusMods: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/3001. I’m using Rivatuner 1080 with my current settings, which are around 44-45fps at 1080 internal resolution, pushing to 4k at 40fps. Even from a distance of about 10-11 feet, the visual quality is still clear. The 1080 Native 4k DLSS mode (1080 internal) gives me about 37fps max. Of course, this is just a few blocks in the city—some places might handle it better.
