You're considering a new PC build and are unsure whether to go with Team Red or Team Blue. After researching the differences, Intel seems to be the better choice. AMD is currently in a tough spot, so you might want to switch soon. Thanks ahead!

Most items available now work well for Starcraft without problems. Do you have any other requirements? What is your budget looking like? It all comes down to what you need. Linus made a recent video about budget builds, and both options performed similarly. However, when you looked at upgrade options and overclocking potential, AMD stood out. With AMD, you can start with a low-end CPU and use a b450 motherboard for affordability, then upgrade later to something like a 5800x if desired. They also support overclocking. With Intel, the upgrade options are much more restricted, and you can only overclock on their pricier models.

Refocused on CPUs, boards and RAM. Are you referring to Starcraft 2? Given its base game has been around for over a decade and the latest expansion came out five years ago, almost anything should be compatible.
