Cheating and kids everywhere. Enjoying games only on the local network.
Considering a game is poor or outdated isn’t a valid excuse to hope it survives. Halt playing and cease investing if many stop spending, as lack of support leads to abandonment. It won’t harm your life if others still play it, even if it feels stale. Some enjoy cosmetic spending in games like CS:GO, but that’s not my concern. Not everyone shares my perspective, yet it’s understandable. Your point is valid, though I’m unsure why you think it matters about the game being taken down.
I got through your point without hesitation. I’m not suggesting I need to stop because I’ve earned my money and shifted onward. What I mean is that the numbers about the playerbase are affected by the decline in farmers.
I wouldnt say it has declined because....well. Nothing has been released to take it down. CS and Battlegrounds are two totally different styles of games. That's like saying Mario Kart will take down Forza. Until Battalion 1944 or another teambased one life shooter comes out then CS will continue to thrive. CS is the only FPS game out there that provides the one life mode other than maybe COD's Search and Destroy modes. No reason CS and Battlegrounds can't co exist, they are two different game styles.
I didn't catch that from your message, though it might have been clearer. You're right to point this out—I don't think you're wrong. With 11 million players each month, the numbers seem small compared to the overall audience. Do you have any data to support the claim that playerbase stats are affected by drop farmers?
