I've observed that Counter-Strike's popularity has dropped over time. Perhaps players are growing tired of it... but PLAYERUNKNOWN BATTLEGROUNDS is taking the lead now. It's been consistently the second most streamed title for three days straight. Usually these numbers change, but this has stayed steady. It might be because the game feels fresh or people are really enjoying it. Personally, I enjoy playing it—I own the game and play daily. I usually start at 6 a.m. and finish before I need to go to work. The deaths scare me a bit, mainly because of that loud noise that makes you jump. I LOVE IT! I wish the developers would expand it further. Maybe they'd team up with a well-known studio like Rockstar, which also makes GTA. That could bring more support and resources, such as additional servers for smoother online play and bug fixes. P.S.: This is the first game I don't mind bugs in—it adds humor, especially when streaming. It makes me laugh a lot!
from the perspective of pub g, I don’t believe merging with a large development team would enhance the game; it might take something away from its core. Right now, the developers are just a few passionate individuals who truly value the project, and that dynamic could shift if they joined a bigger organization.
They recently altered the Negev in a way that’s really disappointing. That weapon was top-notch, and using it for control would have been very effective. However, they went with a poorly designed spray control version that suffers from terrible precision right out of the gate.
I was a level 2 player and played on Nova, R8, and Negev. Does that help?
