No conexión VGA LED directa.
Hello, Suddenly my computer refuse to boot. I don't have access to bios. The PCI-E led (PCIE1) of my GC is red, and the EZ debug led VGA is lit. The 4 RAM slot leds are lit. I have an LCD Powered by usb, it is powered at this stage This happened suddenly, I had this configuration for 2-3 years, and did not changed it. A few days ago, I start my computer, and it was stuck in this sate. What I've already tried : - Use another PSU / Removing M.2 SSD / leaving only 1 DRAM / Clearing CMOS (on the next boot, the GC fans are running full speed) / Updating Bios to 7B79vH4 ( X470 GAMING PLUS MAX | Motherboard | MSI Global ) / use another PCIE slot (4 and 6) I had a GT730 at home so I plugged it instead of the RTX : - First did not work (same symptoms), - Then I cleared the CMOS and it boot => By the way, here the PCIE Led is now white. - It will boot as long as I do not replace my RTX2070. So each time I replug my RTX2070 and remove it, I have to clear CMOS to boot with the GT730 - I brought the RTX 2070 to a computer store, they tested it and it works fine on their test bench, they let it run for an hour or so. What do you think the issue come from ? Motherboard ? Graphic cards ? Other ? What could I do more to investigate (I don't have another motherboard nor CPU) My guess is that somehow, the PCIE lanes have a defect on the Motherboard, it is not an issue with the GT730, but it is with the RTX2070, any opinion ? System Specs MB : MSI x470 GAMING PLUS MAX CPU : R7 2700X GC : RTX 2070 PSU : CoolerMaster V850 SFX RAM : 4 Ballistix 8 Go Storage : 1 x 1 To HDD + 1 x 1To SSD M.2 + 1 x 500Gb SSD Thank you all for your help.
I swapped out the motherboard for a different one (purchased a used one), same type, it functions fine. Likely the issue was the motherboard itself—uncertain what might fail there. I plan to store it in my garage; it still operates with a low-end graphics card.
