This depends on your setup. Clearing CMOS usually resets all system settings, including fTPM. A BIOS update might also reset related components. Disabling fTPM keys is a manual process and won’t automatically clear them unless you configure it that way.

The bios can be updated easily. Disabling ftpm is also possible. This offers options to write new keys or retain existing ones during cpu changes. If you maintain the previous ftpm settings, it should remain active.
