Perhaps the game's design has worn on me, the combat in Skyrim wasn't great, but it didn't bother me. Die reload seems to help, though it feels a bit forced. I mostly play with one hand and am new to the character, so my stealth isn't strong. It's like throwing things at a wall and hoping they stick.

Before tackling tough dungeons, do some preliminary grinding. Enhance your gear and seek out superior weapons.

You're tackling each challenge in Whiterun like a regular player.

I prefer starting the game by acknowledging you won't be able to move stealthily. It's essential to focus on engaging just one or two enemies at a time so you can handle them effectively. I'd also bring a shield with me until you're able to reliably kill and stay alive, as that will be useful later.

Stealth presents a challenge initially, but mastering your stealth abilities allows you to quietly eliminate targets without being noticed.

Through more than a hundred hours in Skyrim, I've learned that swordplay relies heavily on chance. Arrows and spells offer a different challenge, and I can land powerful shots from a distance. My top approach was targeting enemies with a bow and taking advantage of the "x2.0 damage hidden bonus" option.

I’d avoid the main objectives, start with the side quests first since they bring in a lot of income. Skyrim did have a tough difficulty curve, which can be frustrating on higher settings.

You face a steep learning curve. Overcoming even one bandit early is tough. I start by sneaking in with a few arrows, then switch to a sword and spells for close encounters. In dungeons, use oil lamps and torches as much as you can. As soon as possible, consider hiring a mercenary from Whiterun. A solid choice is Ulfberth the Unbroken—just fight her and she’ll join your side. Allies are crucial; they absorb damage while you take the brunt. Once you gain experience, it becomes easier and you’ll have more options (though still within limits). Behind allies, crafting and enchanting are your top allies and most powerful tools.

Grab your protection and respond immediately when your opponent begins to strike, then retaliate once they're incapacitated. If you're low on energy, move in a zigzag pattern. Utilize stealth effects with arrows to deal damage efficiently.

Second lowest, I'm really struggling to keep it together and just want to quit. He's playing so much better now.
