Honestly, the beta has kinda dragged me in. There's still the odd sponging every so often and the suppressor (or silencer? whichever one it is) just seems to be useless and turns your gun into a BB gun which kinda bugs me, though at the same time it means that we don't have guns that are still very powerful that are invisible on the radar. The performance bugs also bugged me a bit, though they didn't make it unplayable for me, it didn't seem to like me pushing mid 100's fps though. That being said... I can see shotguns being VERY powerful given the fast movement system which makes it very easy to get up close.

It's a three-year pattern, isn't it?

For years now, COD isn't something I can choose. BO3 doesn't alter that.

a game launches once a year... not every three years. (i think the dev cycle is about three years)

They seem to follow a roughly three-year development rhythm, releasing updates every few years. Each installment feels unique due to changing mechanics. The main connections come from shared challenges and core gameplay elements.

Gta spanned around six years, with four of them plus two for the PC version. The final two years focused on first-person play and porting, which delayed the release. Gta 6 likely came out in 2017 or 2018, meaning it would take at least four to five years since the last version.
